Sono On-Site Veterinary Imaging was born out of my love and passion for providing a gold standard of care in diagnostic imaging. As a veterinary technician specialist in diagnostic imaging I am able to provide that care at a more affordable rate for clinics and their clients. Working at a corporate specialty and emergency practice I have seen how difficult it can be for clients to afford quality care for their fur babies. I truly believe that this care should be more accessible without having to sacrifice on the same quality that you would get at the corporate specialty practices. I am confident in my training and certifications to be able to provide that same standard of care at SOS Veterinary Imaging.

Owner - Megan Gonzalez CVT, VTS-DI 

Megan has over 10 years experience as a certified veterinary technician with the last 8 years specializing in radiology. Those years of radiology experience come from training and working with board certified radiologists at a local specialty and emergency referral practice. During her time there she has become an expert in performing abdominal, cervical, and thoracic ultrasound evaluations as well as CT and MRI exams.

With this experience and training she was able to become a veterinary technician specialist in diagnostic imaging in 2024. Since then she has been heavily involved in the AVTDI board by joining several committees as well as lecturing at multiple conferences about ultrasound and radiology safety. 

 All imaging is sent and reviewed by a boarded Radiologist or Cardiologist through our preferred teleradiology group: eIMAGING

Standard reports have a 24 hour turnaround time. 

Cardiac cases performed on a Friday will have reports back on the following Monday.
